Obituary

The family of William M. Pawlin is greatly saddened to announce his passing on March 10,2026 in their love and comfort. Born in Ludlow to the late Steve and Rose (Lisiewicz) Pawlin on February 15,1954, he spent his youth and was educated there. After completing his studies because of his love for his country he proudly enlisted in the United States Army. Being a veteran was a badge he wore proudly every day. He chose a career as a truck driver after many years retired and continued working as an usher at the Mass Mutual Center In Springfield. Bill was a warm and loving person and enjoyed being around people and pets both young and old. He enjoyed sports, especially watching the Boston Teams and loved a good western. His most pleasurable times were those spent with his family by his side especially his beloved mother-in-law Virginia Pallota. He loved his family, friends and his faithful companion Bear unconditionally and will be greatly missed.

Surviving Bill is his devoted wife Donna, his loving children, Angela Pawlin, Danny (Adara) Wilkins and his cherished grandchild Gavin. He will remain in the hearts of his loving siblings, Robert (Sue) Pawlin, Cheryl (Sue) Pawlin as well as a small extended family and many friends.

Services to honor Bill will be held on Wednesday March 18,2026 at the Agawam Funeral Home 184 Main Steet beginning at 10:15 A.M. and proceeding to the Massachusetts Veterans Cemetery for an 11 A.M. committal with military honors.
