William J. Naylor Jr., beloved husband, father, and friend, passed away peacefully on March 24, 2025, at the age of 87. Born on June 20, 1937, to William and Merle (Prescott) Naylor, he grew up in Deerfield before moving to Springfield in the 1960s.

William proudly served as a Staff Sergeant in the United States Air Force from 1954 to 1966. He dedicated over 30 years of his career to Peter Pan Bus Line, starting as a driver and retiring as a trainer, leaving a lasting impact on the company and those he mentored.

An avid outdoorsman, William cherished his time hunting and fishing, often sharing these passions with his family. He was also a proud recipient of the Million Mile Safe Driver award at Peter Pan Bus Lines.

William is survived by son, Mark Naylor and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his loving wife, Ruth (Smith) Naylor, and his four sisters. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
