Veronica Francis, age ninety-nine, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love, family and quiet strength. She was the beloved wife of the late Edmond R. Francis (2010) and was also predeceased by two of her children, Nancy L. Petrucci (2011) and Raymond Francis (2021). A devoted communicant of St. John the Baptist Church, Veronica lived a life grounded in good faith, family and compassion. She was a lifelong wife, mother and homemaker whose greatest joy came from caring for those she loved. She also had a deep affection for animals, a reflection of her gentle and nurturing spirit.

Her favorite pastime was reading and traveling with her family.

Veronica is survived by her loving children: Veronica Francis of St. Petersburg FL, Elaine Dowty of Lorton VA, Diane Ryan of Springfield, Edmond Francis Jr. and his wife Susan of Jamestown TN and Dawn Parent and her husband Steve of Seminole FL. She also leaves behind fourteen grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren who will carry forward her memory and values. Veronica's life was one of quiet devotion and enduring love-she will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew her.

A private gathering will be held for her family.
