Steven Arnold Meunier, 72, passed away peacefully in his sleep on August 19, 2026 in his home in Georgia.

Born in Chicopee, Massachusetts, Steve was the second oldest of nine children born to Raymond and Nancy Meunier. Just shy of their 50th anniversary, he leaves behind his beloved wife, Rhonda, along with their two sons, Stacy and Nathan, and his son-in-law, Michael.

He is preceded in death by two of his sisters, Sharon and Regina. Surviving Steve are his siblings Cindy, Bruce, Ken, Theresa, Raymond, and Chad, who will forever cherish his memory.

Steve proudly served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam Conflict, achieving the rank of Staff Sergeant. After completing his service, he dedicated his entire professional career to the aerospace industry, working on turbines, aircraft components, and some classified projects. His skill, precision, and commitment earned him deep respect among colleagues and friends.

A devoted follower of Jesus, Steve spent many years ministering alongside close friends and peers through Celebrate Recovery, various church ministries, and a jail ministry. He shared his powerful testimony with countless men, standing shoulder to shoulder with those facing life’s challenges and offering hope rooted in faith.

Steve’s favorite scripture was Romans 8:38-39:

“For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

These words guided his life and now bring comfort to those who mourn his passing.

Visitation with his family will be held on Tuesday September 1,2026 at the Agawam Funeral Home 184 Main Street beginning at 11 A.M. and concluding at 1 P.M. with a funeral home service. Committal with full military honors will follow at 2 P.M. at the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Agawam.
