Rosada "Rose"
Petrucci
April 19, 1944 – January 21, 2026
Rosada "Rose" Petrucci entered eternal life on January 21,2026 surrounded by the love that defined her life. Born in Springfield on April 19,1944 to the late Sebastion and Doris (Darby) Petrucci, she spent her youth and was educated in West Springfield. Growing up in a large family, Rose acquired a remarkable work ethic and a strong bond with her siblings that remained at the center of her life. She believed in giving one hundred percent to any task and she especially found satisfaction in being outdoors maintaining her yard. Rose also believed in enjoying her leisure time and being at the beach or taking trips to the casino were her favorites. And there was no match for Rose when it came to being a storyteller. She found it quite enjoyable to be at the center of the tale or adventure. Rose appreciated each day looking forward to the simple things in life. Her early years shaped the values she carried always: faith, hard work, loyalty, and devotion to family. She will remain in the hearts of those whose lives she touched.
Surviving Rose is her best friend Joan Budd and her loving family, Carlton Petrucci, Rev Michael Petrucci (Cathleen), Claudia Kurtz (David) and Russell Petrucci (Sherry). To cherish her memory, she also leaves several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends who will greatly miss her. Sadly, she was predeceased by her brothers, Sebastian Jr. and Charles.
Visitation with Rose's family will take place on Friday January 30, 2026, from 4-7 P.M. at the Agawam Funeral Home 184 Main Street.
