Ronald J. Mann, a cherished son, devoted friend, and proud veteran, passed away on February 7, 2025, at the age of 70 of West Springfield, MA, where he had resided for the past five years. Born on August 8, 1954, in Greenfield, MA, Ronald was the beloved son of Rita E. Dion and Crawford J. Mann.

Ronald was a man of many passions and an unwavering spirit. A proud United States Marine, he served his country with honor and dedication. After his military service, he pursued a career as a professional driver, a role that allowed him to connect with people from all walks of life.

Despite facing significant health challenges, including five heart attacks, Ronald remained a beacon of positivity and joy. His infectious smile and cheerful demeanor could light up any room. He was grateful for every moment, appreciating the kindness shown to him by others.

A lover of adventure, Ronald enjoyed traveling the world and went on many cruises, creating lasting memories along the way. He had a deep affection for 1950s music and movies, often reminiscing about the era that brought him so much joy. His friends affectionately nicknamed him "Mountain Dew Ronnie," a testament to his love for the fizzy drink, and he could frequently be found indulging in his favorite Big Macs.

Ronald is remembered as a pleasant and positive man who embraced life with open arms. He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and gratitude, reminding us all to cherish the small joys in life.

Friends and family are invited to meet at the Agawam Funeral Home on Friday, February 14, 2025, at 10:15 AM to travel in procession to the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery, where a committal service with full military honors will be held at 11:00 AM
