Pamela Ann (Saitto) Pudlo, age 80, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by the deep warmth and love of her family, after fighting Parkinson’s disease with all her might.
Pamela was the cherished wife of Ronald J. Pudlo, with whom she shared fifty-seven wonderful years of marriage, devotion, and partnership. Above all else, Pamela enjoyed nothing more than being at home with her family. She was the heart and the glue of her family-a master maker of traditions, a lover of dogs and quiet afternoons watching the birds and the best organizer of holidays and vacations ever. Her circle of friends loved her dearly and she was known to all as a light who always focused on the positive.
Career-wise, Pamela spent years dedicating her time and heart to Shriners Children’s Hospital in Springfield, Massachusetts, where she proudly created the Child Life Department. She was also a former elementary school teacher at Clifford M. Granger School in Feeding Hills Massachusetts.
Pamela’s memory will be forever cherished by her beloved husband, Ronald; her daughter Wendy Rua and her husband, Mario; and her five greatest treasures-her grandchildren: Kaylas Pudlo, Nathan Pudlo, Christian Rua, Gabriel Rua, and Timothy Rua. She was preceded in death by her beloved son, Greg Pudlo, who was taken from this world far too early.
Her family extends their deepest thanks to the Baystate Hospice Team for their exceptional care and support and to the family and friends who joined us by her bedside as we celebrated her final days. In honor of Pamela’s lifelong optimism and love, take a moment to enjoy a peaceful view of the birds, cherish your loved ones, and hold tight to the traditions that bring you together.
Visitation with her family will take place on Thursday November 5,2026 at the Agawam Funeral Home 184 Main Street from 4 until 7 P.M. Family & friends will gather at 9:30 A.M. on Friday November 6, 2026, and proceed to Sacred Heart Church in Feeding Hills for a 11 A.M. Liturgy of Christian Burial. Committal will be held privately for the family. For those wishing to remember Pamela and her great love for animals, the family suggests donations be made to Whip City Animal Sanctuary in Westfield MA.
