Beloved mother, grandmother sister, and aunt, Nancy A. Baker entered eternal rest peacefully surrounded by her devoted family. Born on May 19,1952 in Springfield to the late Michael and Dorothy (McCoy) Bogacz, she was raised and educated there. She became the wife of Raymond Baker in 1970 and together they welcomed their family and spent forty-four years happily married until his passing in 2016. Nancy took immense pride in being a mother, creating a loving, nurturing environment for her children, instilling in them the values of life that she held so dearly. She began each day with a positive outlook, always ready to meet whatever challenge the day would bring. Nancy was employed in the transportation field as a valued member of the team at New England Motor Freight. Her second career as a mom was her first. In her leisure she was an avid reader, enjoyed playing board games and was always ready to play a game of cards. She enjoyed camping and looked forward to trips to the casino. Nancy was a loving, generous woman who loved furiously and with great loyalty.

Surviving Nancy are her devoted children, Kathleen Poggi and her husband Mark and Kristine Nicholls and her husband Joshua. She also leaves her four cherished grandchildren Kayla, Ethan, Keira and Gavin, her loving brother Michael Bogacz and his wife Wanda and her beloved nephews Mike and Kevin. She was predeceased by her husband Raymond and her brother Walter.

Visitation with the family will be held on August 9,2025 from 9-11 A.M. at the Agawam Funeral Home 184 Main Street concluding with a service at 11 A.M. Committal immediately following at Springfield Street Cemetery. Memorial donations in Nancy's name may be made to Mercy Hospital Oncology Department.
