Obituary

Michael Gramolini, 63, beloved brother, uncle and friend, passed away Wednesday, August 13, 2025. He was born in Springfield to Louis and Anna May (Whitelock) Gramolini, Jr. moved to Agawam as a young child. He was a 1980 graduate of Agawam High School.

Michael chose a career in material handling and was a valued member of the team at Arclin in East Longmeadow. He had a strong work ethic and looked forward to the challenges of being a forklift operator while enjoying the camaraderie of his coworkers. Michael was also a talented mechanic and formerly worked in this field.

He loved to go fishing and hunting, he was very social who relished good company while visiting sports bars where he would be routing for the Jets and Red Sox. He looked forward to spending time at his brother's house with his niece, nephew, and their friends while enjoying the pool, he also enjoyed taking trips to the casino. Michael was taken too soon but his memory will remain in the hearts of those he loved.

Michael was predeceased by his parents, Louis Gramolini in 1989 and Anna May (Whitelock) Gramolini in 2011; and he leaves his devoted siblings, brother Frank Gramolini, and his wife, Darlene, sister Lou Ann Gramolini and brother David Gramolini. He will be greatly missed by his loving niece Phylicia Lavigne and her husband Tony and their children, and his nephew and godson Robert Gramolini, his wife Lori and their children. He also leaves cousins who he cherished, and lifelong friends.

Visitation with his family will be held on Wednesday August 20,2025 at the Agawam Funeral Home 184 Main Street from 6-8 P.M. with service at 7:30 P.M. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorial donations in Michael's name may be made to Dakin Humane Society 171 Union Street Springfield 01105 or St. Jude Research Hospitals for
