Obituary

Mary Caporale, a woman of quiet strength, deep devotion, and boundless love, passed away on June 15,2025 at the age of ninety-eight. She was the beloved wife of the late Charles Caporale, with whom she shared over seventy years of devoted marriage-a union grounded in love, respect, and resilience.

Mary was the cherished mother of the late Karol-Ann Rogers, loving grandmother to Karisa Hyder, adoring great-grandmother to Ava Grace Hyder and dear aunt to Pat Wilson of Texas. She also leaves her son-in-law Alan Rogers of Feeding Hills, who remained a constant and caring presence in her life.

A long-time resident of the Feeding Hills community for thirty-four years, Mary was known for her gentle spirit and welcoming heart. In her earlier years she proudly served as a poll worker, contributing to the democratic process in her local community.

Mary's home was her sanctuary, where the warmth of her kitchen was rivaled only by the warmth of her heart. She was an exceptional cook and baker, and her meals were the centerpiece of countless family memories. She was an extraordinary listener, known for her impeccable memory and her ability to make everyone feel truly seen and heard.

Through every stage of her life, Mary remained steady, selfless, and deeply committed to her family. She was the keeper of traditions, the source of wisdom, and the quiet anchor in the lives of those she loved. Her legacy lives on in every recipe she shared, every story remembered, and every life she touched with grace and compassion.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mary's memory to the Thomas J. O'Connor Animal Control and Adoption Center in Springfield, an organization dear to her heart.

Visitation with the family will be held on Tuesday June 24,2025 from 11:30-1 P.M. at the Agawam Funeral Home 184 Main Street.  Services will begin at 1 P.M. followed by committal rites at the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery at 2 P.M.

Mary Caporale will be remembered always-with love, with gratitude, and with the enduring comfort of her beautiful spirit.
