Beloved wife and mother, Margaret E. Russell entered eternal rest peacefully on April 30,2025. Margaret faced her health challenges bravely with her devoted husband George always by her side. She was born in Westfield on November 8,1949 to the late Francis and Lucy (Jegelwicz) O'Conner and was raised and educated there. She wed the love of her life, George Russell in 1971 and they welcomed their only son and Margaret created a nurturing loving home for her family. She loved to prepare meals for her family and friends, always looking forward to the next gathering. Spending time with those she loved was a joy for her and she brought much light and warmth to each event. Margaret was always happy to engage in a game of cards no matter what the competition. She also had a love of the outdoors and found great peace in fishing beside her beloved George. Margaret had a loving nature and was a kind giving woman thankful for each day and for her loved ones. She will be greatly missed and never forgotten.

Surviving Margaret is her devoted husband George and her loving son Michael and his wife. Servicers for Margaret were held on May 13,2025 at the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
