Lynn A. Plakias passed away peacefully on Saturday March 21,2026 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Lynn was a devoted wife, beloved mother and treasured Grammy. She was born in Springfield on November 9, 1948, to the late John and Lillian Gray. She was predeceased by her sister, Donna Lee Gray. She was raised in Agawam and graduated from Agawam High School in 1966. After raising her two children, she worked at The Key Program Mental Health Clinic for 30 years, retiring in 2020.

Lynn leaves behind a devoted family who will forever cherish the memories.

Lynn is survived by her devoted husband and best friend, Thomas. They were married in 1969 at the Agawam Congregational Church and were blessed with 57 years together.

She also leaves her 2 loving children Kimberly Liimatainen and her husband Robert and Jeffrey Plakias and his wife Tracy as well as 5 cherished grandchildren, Matthew, Lauren, Nicholas, Thomas and Michael. Lynn was a deeply loving mother and grandmother who often said her family was her greatest gift and accomplishment. She would say that her grandchildren were what made her heart beat and she and Tom rarely missed a school or sporting event.

She leaves behind a legacy of kindness that will forever warm the hearts and minds of those she met along the way. She will always be remembered for her generosity, contagious laugh, compassion, humor and unwavering devotion and love for her family. They had many memorable family trips together to Old Lyme, Sagamore Beach, North Carolina and Rhode Island to name a few and many cruises to almost all of the Caribbean islands and Alaska.

Visitation with her family will be held on Saturday March 28,2026 at the Agawam Funeral Home 184 Main Street from 10:30 until 12 Noon concluding with a service beginning at Noon.
