Beloved mother, grandmother and friend, Lucille Hardy entered eternal rest peacefully on July 11,2025 in the comfort of her family. Born on August 21, 1935, in Holyoke, she was raised and educated, eventually settling in Agawam. Lucille was a devoted mother to her seven children diligently working to ensure their home was a nurturing loving environment where they could thrive to become their best. Her home was her castle, and she took immense pride in not only the inside but also the surrounding grounds. She was a zealous gardener tending to both her vegetable and flowering plants making sure her beloved butterflies had the flowers to which they were attracted. She was most comfortable in tune with nature and found enjoyment in feeding as well as watching the birds. She also loved to create great meals for her family and friends looking forward to every opportunity to spend time with them. Lucille also had a great fondness for animals, especially cats, and found their company very comforting. Lucille greeted each day with a newfound desire to make each day the best it could be for her and all those she loved in her life.

Surviving Lucille are her devoted children; Luke Hardy of Palmer, Ronald Hardy of Agawam, Michael Hardy, and his wife Maria of Agawam; David Hardy and his wife Pamela of West Suffield; Stephen Hardy of Maine and Gary Marsh and his wife Carol. Sadly, she was predeceased by her daughter Donna Marie Hardy Kersey in 2001. She will be greatly missed by her sixteen grandchildren and her eighteen great grandchildren and her large extended family and friends. All services for Lucille will be held privately for the family.
