Louise G. Amerman passed away peacefully April 24,2026 leaving behind a legacy of warmth, gentleness and quiet joy in life's simple pleasures. Louise was born on February 12, 1931 in Springfield to the late George and Imogene (Rawson) Gordon. After completing her advanced education she spent many successful years as an educator and librarian in the Agawam School System. Louise found great joy in the pages of a good mystery, often reading two or three at once and had a love of classical music. She had a soft, kind spirit and a deep appreciation for the small wonders of the world. Among her fondest memories were those of her beloved animal companions, including her dogs Mitzie and Daisy and a visiting chipmunk she named Miss Marple.

Louise is lovingly remembered by her son, Warren Amerman Jr, and his wife, Debra Pinucci, She was a devoted grandmother to Eric Amerman and Elizabeth Burns, and a proud great-grandmother to Kenny, Bryce, Ellie, and Daisy Lou Burns, all of whom brought her happiness. She will be remembered for her gentle nature, her quiet kindness, and her love of family. A service for family will be held at a later date.
