Beloved mother, Lillian J Peabody entered eternal rest peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on August 8,2025. Born in Deer Isle Maine to the late James L Jr. and Flora Hardie, she was raised and educated there. She wed her husband Vernon and together they welcomed their family. Her career as a wife and mother was a successful one creating a nurturing environment for her family, instilling the values in life that would guide them on the right paths. She took great pride in her home and children. She appreciated the simple things in life. She loved creating great meals and treats for her family. The peace and serenity of bird watching and reading were great pleasures for Lillian.  She will be greatly missed, and her legacy will live on through her family.

Surviving Lillian are her beloved children, Jason Blackmore, Virgina Blackmore, Steven Blackmore, Vernon Peabody Jr and his wife Pamela, Dana Peabody and his wife Jenny and Amy Anderson and her husband Scott. To cherish her memory, she leaves eleven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

All services will be held  at Hillside Cemetery in Deer Isle Maine on August 18, 2025 at 1 P.M.
