Obituary

Kenneth A. Noel was born on April 17,1962 in Springfield MA to the late Arthur Noel and Louise (Robbins) Noel, one of five children, and spent his youth and was educated in Westside (West Springfield). He completed his high school education and was a bit uncertain on the road to follow and attended college for one year which convinced him to change course. As a young man Kenneth was a cub scout and later in high school became a member of the Police Explorers Law Enforcement club. His kindness and desire to help others led him to study and become qualified as an EMT. Kenneth possessed emotional resilience as well as physical stamina not only to provide the care required in extremely stressful situations but to remain calm and supportive. He worked in partnerships with other members of his team in unprecedented circumstances to quickly determine the best course of action. Kenneth found his work to be fulfilling, and he had a strong desire to do more. He went on to study and become a paramedic which afforded him a larger scope of practice providing Advanced Life Support. His passion for his work led him to teach others on the road to becoming paramedics. In his leisure Kenneth enjoyed playing the drums which he had started in his youth as a member of the high school band. His skills in cooking were notable and second to none. He had a profound appreciation for the outdoors and engaged in camping, hunting and fishing. The peace and tranquility provided the opportunity for stress relief as well as overall mental well-being. He faced challenges in life which sometimes became a hill he couldn’t quite climb. He tried very hard and was there for many others in their time of need, but he couldn’t find his way back for himself. He was loved and will remain in the hearts of his loved ones.

Surviving Kenneth are his children, Maura Pursell (Rodney). Jason Noel (Meghan), Stephanie Lee (Kevin), his mother Louise Noel and his former wife Cheri Dean Noel. He also leaves his siblings Cynthia Glemboski (Stanley), Kevin Noel (Valerie), and Andrew Noel (Kristie) and his cherished grandchildren, Carson, Camden, Devin and Matthew. Sadly, he was predeceased by his father Arthur Noel, stepfather Bernard Jackias, and brother Christopher Noel.

Visitation will be held on Monday June 22,2026 at the Agawam Funeral Home 184 Main Street from 10 until 11 A.M. concluding at 11 A.M. with a funeral home service.
