With great sadness the family of Kenneth M. Barrett announces his unexpected and untimely passing. He was born in Athol MA on October 22,1955 to the late Roger and Thelma (King) Barrett. He was raised and educated locally before relocating to California. Ken used his talents and expertise as a valued member of the staff at both Home Depot and Lowes for over forty years. He enjoyed the challenge that each day would bring and felt great satisfaction in assisting each customer in their quest. He had a profound fondness for animals, and he adored his beloved canine companion, Florencia. It brought him great joy to stroll through Feeding Hills with her enjoying the exercise as well as her company. Ken was a man of great faith who found comfort in reading the bible as well as prayer. He was a devout member of St David's Episcopal Church in Agawam. His kind and gentle spirit will forever be remembered by those he loved and whose lives he touched.

Surviving Ken are his loving sisters, Susan Barrett, Carol Grasso, and Fay Borgatti as well as his beloved nieces, nephews and friends. He was predeceased by his parents and his sister Sheryl Lapierre.

A prayer service for Ken will be held at 2:00PM Tuesday September 9,2025 at St David's Episcopal 699 Springfield Street Feeding Hills followed by a celebration of his life.
