Joyce Faith Geiger, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on September 6th at the age of 89. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert Geiger, and together, they shared a life filled with love and family.

Joyce was the daughter of the late Homer and Margaret Eastman and sister to Diana Vandall, and the late Shirley Newsome. She is survived by her four children: Rob and the late Crystal Geiger of Alaska; Steve and Pam Geiger of Wisconsin; Gary and Mary Geiger of Agawam; and Cindy and Todd Carver of Michigan. Her legacy lives on through her eleven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren, all of whom she adored and who brought her immense joy.

Joyce was an avid knitter who made countless hats and mittens for her grandchildren over the years, showcasing her love and care through her crafts.

She was a dedicated member of the Agawam Baptist Church, where she found community and strength throughout her life. She was also actively involved in the Agawam Gridiron Moms and the Agawam Band and Color Guard Parents for many years.

Her warm heart, kind spirit, and unwavering faith will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Joyce's life was a testament to the importance of family, faith, and service to others, and she leaves behind a legacy of love that will endure for generations to come.

A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at the Agawam Funeral Home 184 Main Street on Friday September 12,2025 beginning with a visitation from 9-10 A.M. concluding with a service at 10 A.M.  Committal  to follow at 11 A.M. at the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the charity of your choice in Joyce's honor.
