Obituary

Joseph C. Brodowski

March 26, 1959 – March 18, 2025

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Joseph C. Brodowski, who left this world on March 18, 2025, just days before his 66th birthday. Born on March 26, 1959, Joseph grew up in Westfield, MA, before settling in Palmer, MA, where he built a life filled with love, passion, and dedication to his family and interests.

Joseph was a man of deep curiosity and intellect, an avid reader with an enduring love for history, particularly the Civil War and World War II. His passion for learning was only rivaled by his devotion to his beloved Boston Red Sox, a team he followed with unwavering loyalty throughout his life.

A free spirit at heart, Joseph found joy in bike riding, the raw energy of rock and roll, and the undeniable thrill of Harley Davidson motorcycles. These passions defined his adventurous and passionate approach to life.

Above all, Joseph cherished his family. He was a proud father to his daughter, Olivia Brodowski, and a devoted grandfather to Lauralei and Cataleya, who brought immense joy to his life. He shared a lifelong bond with his siblings, Anthony Brodowski and his wife Jean, Sarah Kirst and her husband James, and Carol Laxton and her husband Donald. Joseph was predeceased by his loving parents, Ernest J. Brodowski and Ann Marie (Suchocki) Brodowski, whose memory he carried with him always.

To honor Joseph's compassionate spirit, donations may be made in his name to Friends of the Homeless, 8 Atwood Drive, Suite 301, Northampton, MA 01030.

Per Joseph's families wishes, funeral services will be private.
