Obituary

With profound sadness and great love, the family of John Martin announces his untimely passing on March 16, 2024 in the comfort of their love. Born in Holyoke on February 19,1973 to the late Robert and Lillian (Chretien) Martin, John was raised and educated in Agawam. From a young age he loved the outdoors and appreciated the feeling of satisfaction accomplished through a hard day's work. John began his career working with godfather, Tony Bertoldo at 3B Productions based in Suffield CT: producers of live shows with movie theaters across Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Vermont. At 3B, John was known for his versatility and dedication to every aspect of production and the day-to-day working of the company. John found his calling in the art of landscaping and was employed for several businesses in Suffield before his current position with ATR Associates Landscaping of Agawam. He took great pride in his work and greeted each day with enthusiasm. In his leisure he enjoyed gardening and being outdoors among nature. He was an avid NASCAR fan with Dale Earnhardt being his favorite. John appreciated the simple pleasures in life and sharing his love with those around him.

Surviving John are his beloved partner Patricia Abare and his loving siblings Gary Martin and his wife Julie, Toni Ann Martin-Beaulieu, Dennis Martin, Mark Martin, and Celina Martin Willard and her husband Joseph. He will be greatly missed by his special niece and nephew Linzee and Tyler, extended family, and countless friends. He was predeceased by his parents and stepbrothers Robert, William, and Jimmy Martin.

Visitation with the family will be held on Saturday March 23, 2024 at the Agawam Funeral Home 184 Main Street in Agawam from 11:30 -1:30 P.M. concluding with a funeral home service at 1:30 P.M.
