Jeffrey S. Parker

Jeffrey Stewart Parker, 71, passed away peacefully on April 17, 2024, after a lengthy period of declining health. Unfortunately, Jeff had a rare neurological disease, called Progressive Supranuclear Palsy.

Jeffrey was born in Schenectady, NY, the son of the late Stewart and Elizabeth Parker.  He moved at a young age to Concord, NH, where he later attended Concord High School and then the University of New Hampshire.  After college he relocated to Chicopee, MA, where he lived for over 40 years.  One of his favorite jobs was being a DJ and a manager at clubs in the Springfield area.

Jeffrey was extremely kind-hearted and generous, and it gave him great pleasure to help those less fortunate than himself.  He especially enjoyed telling jokes and loved to make peoples days better with laughter and smiles.  One of his greatest pleasures in life was to travel frequently to Canada to visit his close friends.  He was always eager to try a new dining experience and would often insist on paying the bill when eating out with his friends.

For all who knew Jeff, please rest assured that he is no longer in pain and suffering from this horrible disease.  He put up a very good fight, but he has gone to a better place now.  God Bless you Jeffrey, you will be missed.

He is survived by his sister, Diane Campbell and her husband John, and numerous cousins.  The service will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
