Jeanne A
Parrow
January 5, 1940 – June 27, 2025
With heavy hearts, the family of Jeanne A. Parrow announces her passing peacefully on June 27, 2025. Born on January 5, 1940, to the late George and Olive (LaPointe) Perron in Berlin NH, where she spent her early years before her family moved to the Springfield area, graduating from Cathedral High School class of 1959. Having met him as a child, Jeanne later reconnected with the love of her life, Frank Parrow and they wed in 1964, beginning their wonderful life together, celebrating fifty-six years of marriage until his passing in 2020. Jeanne was a devoted mother and wife, creating a loving, nurturing home for her family. She was a kind woman of great spirit, instilling her values with energy and grace in her children. Jeanne also had an immense love for animals, especially "her dogs." She was a faithful member of St. John the Evangelist Church community and belonged to the St. John's Women's Guild. Jeanne was a valued member of the staff at the former Heritage Hall Nursing Home prior to her retirement and later was a bus monitor for special needs children at LPVEC. Her outgoing nature and pleasant personality quickly captured everyone she met. Her love for her family and friends knew no bounds, and she looked forward to every opportunity to spend time with them. She will forever remain in their hearts.
Surviving Jeanne are her devoted daughters Joanne Parrow of Agawam and Kristine Faricelli and her husband Jeffrey of West Springfield. To cherish her memory, she leaves her beloved grandchildren, Richard Josefiak and his wife Tiffany of North Falmouth, MA, Katelynn Gingras and her husband RJ of Naugatuck, CT, Kyle and Lily Faricelli of West Springfield and great grandchildren, Brian, Savanna and Triffley. Sadly, she was predeceased by her adoring husband, Frank, and beloved daughter Kimberly.
Visitation for Jeanne will be held on Tuesday July 8, 2025 from 9:30-10:30 A.M. at the Agawam Funeral Home 184 Main Street followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 11 A.M. at St. John the Evangelist Church 833 Main Street.
