Obituary

There are no goodbyes for us, wherever you are you will always be in my heart. The Lord chose to call Jean Marie Biancomano safely home on April 16,2026. She faced her challenging illness with courage and grace firm in her belief that it was His will. Jean was the daughter of Joseph and Catherine MacIntyre, born in Jamaicia Plains, Boston on October 9,1967. She was a gentle loving woman always fostering a spirit of generosity and support. Jean was a devoted wife who welcomed the challenge of hard work whether it was caring for others in need or bringing joy to those in her life. She supported many local charities including the Rays of Hope walk for many years. Jean had a deep love for animals and was a foster Mom as well as adopting many needy animals over the years. Her door was always open to any stray in the neighborhood. She looked forward to holidays which brought an opportunity for her to bake goodies for others to enjoy and wear a cheerful costume on Halloween to greet those seeking a treat. Her favorite caper was playing Mrs. Claus beside her devoted husband, Andy, as he embraced the role of Santa at the Christmas Tree lighting in Forest Park. Jean lived life with a compassionate and caring spirit and found her greatest joy in helping others. In her leisure she did enjoy watching the New England Patriots and Boston Red Sox and working beside her husband to create a beautiful living space. Jean believed you were never fully dressed without a smile. Be the reason someone smiles. Be the reason someone feels loved and believes in the goodness in people. She was a caring wife to her husband, Andy, a wonderful stepmother to two unworthy stepchildren and the grandmother of Ellie who she never had the chance to meet. The world was a much better place with her in it.

Surviving Jean is her cherished husband and partner of twenty-five years, Andy Biancomano, her  brother John and his wife Michele, her loving sister Joanne, her aunt Debbie Dorsey, sister-in-law Debbie, and a large extended family. She leaves to mourn her passing her three faithful companions, Charlie, Titan, and Max.

A graveside service will be held for Jean's family and friends on Thursday April 23,2026 beginning at 11 A.M. at the Agawam Center Cemetery 820 Main Street in Agawam. For those wishing to remember Jean in a special way the family respectfully requests donations in her name be made to the Dakin Humane Society 171 Union Street Springfield MA 01105.
