Helen P.
Quaglini
March 4, 1926 – June 1, 2024
Beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend, Helen P. Quaglini entered eternal rest peacefully on Saturday June 1,2024. Born in Holyoke on March 4,1926 to the late Charles and Margaret (Nolan) Bonemery, she was raised and educated in Holyoke, later relocating to Agawam where she settled. Helen chose a career as administrative assistant and retired after many years as a valuable member of the staff of the town of Agawam. She wed her cherished husband Luigi in 1973 and they began their life's journey. Helen took pride in creating a loving, nurturing home for her family. She greeted each day with a smile and gave her best at whatever she encountered. Helen was an avid reader, preferring mystery novels. She loved to have busy hands and had a natural talent for knitting and adult coloring. Her greatest pleasure was spending time with her family and friends. Helen led a fulfilling life. Her love for her family was unwavering and unconditional, defining the very essence of who she was. She will be dearly missed, and the impact of her life will continue to be felt through the memories shared by those who loved and had the pleasure of knowing her.
Surviving Helen is her devoted daughter Dee Bonemery and her husband Lee Zolner of Burlington Ma. To carry on her legacy, she leaves her adored granddaughter Courtney Coyne and her great grandchildren Parker Thomas and Emma Rose. She also leaves a large extended family and countless friends. Sadly, she was predeceased by her beloved Luigi and her siblings Mya, Joseph, Thewba and Margaret.
Visitation with her family will be held on Wednesday June 5,2024 from 4-7 P.M. at the Agawam Funeral Home 184 Main Street. Family & friends will gather on Thursday June 6,2024 at 8:30 A.M and proceed to St. Anthony Maronite Church 375 Island Pond Road in Springfield for a 10 A.M Liturgy of Christian Burial immediately followed by committal at Springfield Street Cemetery in Agawam.
