Obituary

The family of Geri Ann Morris announces her unexpected and untimely passing with deep sadness and great love. Geri entered eternal rest peacefully on May 1, 2025, surrounded by the comfort of her loved ones. She was born on June 3, 1959, to the late Theodore and Anna (Ricapito) Waterman in Springfield and was raised in Agawam. Geri pursued a career in the health care field and had a successful career as a phlebotomist for Mercy Hospital for over thirty years. She wed the love of her life Gilbert Morris and together they built a wonderful life together raising their three children. Geri was a very nurturing, unselfish person, always there to help others. She had a warm, welcoming nature and made friends wherever she went. Geri loved her family and her pups, Roxy and Rico, with no bounds. She was fond of the beach and took immense pride in gardening and cooking. She will forever remain in the hearts of those whose life she touched.
Surviving Geri is her beloved husband Gilbert and her three devoted children: Karla Morris, Jenna Morris, and Joseph Morris. She also leaves her loving siblings, Teddy, John, Chris, Mike, Fred Waterman and sisters Deborah and Patty. Geri also leaves her adored grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and countless friends. She was predeceased by her brother Guy.
