Eleanor Theresa Driscoll (Kallins)
December 25, 1936 - June 21, 2024
Eleanor was born Christmas Day at the end of the Great Depression to Fred and Mildred
Kallins. Her childhood Days involved a multitude of cousins, aunts and Uncles. She had
fond memories of riding ponies and growing gardens.
Eleanor met the love of her life while attending UMASS in the late 1950's. She married
Francis Daniel Driscoll 67 years ago.

Their growing family maintained the tradition of incorporating extended family as they
raised healthy vibrant children. Linda Ann, Mary Beth, Francis Daniel Jr, Frederick
James, Theresa Jean, and John Paul. Camping through New England highlighted many
summer adventures with our grandparents and the old tent trailer in tow.
Eleanor cared for everyone she met including the many dogs and cats they enjoyed
throughout their life. The family expanded to include many grandchildren and great
grandchildren with mom always at the center.

Once the children were grown and often returned for visits, Eleanor became a substitute
Teacher and taught English as a second language at the county jail.

Eleanor's deep faith was the bedrock of her life and was a very avid reader. She studied
the bible and read it daily. Her moral compass and faith-based actions were always on
display along with her good sense of humor.

Eleanor's heartfelt guidance and luminous presence will be carried on by those who had
the very good fortune of being part of her rich and meaningful life.
