Edward F. Melloni ("Puppy") passed away peacefully at home on November 22, 2025. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Catherine (Rocco) Melloni.

Born on September 11, 1932, in Springfield, MA, he spent most of his life in Agawam. Ed leaves behind his three children (Eddie, Nancy, and Stevie) and their spouses, his four grandchildren, and a large, loving group of nieces, nephews, and great-grandchildren. His five younger siblings (Richie, Linda, Louie, Gary, and Jimmy) always held him in high esteem.

Ed was a U.S. Army veteran. After returning from service, he built a long and varied career in many fields, including tobacco farming, carpentry, roofing, trucking, and later, working at his nephew Bruno's garage (Parrota's).

Ed shined in his generosity and lent a hand to anyone who needed it. He was a calm in the storm, steady in his optimism, and his special brand of humor was cherished by all. He enjoyed fishing, music, tinkering, and time with his family, who will miss him dearly.

The memorial will be held on Tuesday, December 2, at 10 AM at Sacred Heart Parish in Feeding Hills, MA. A reception will follow after the graveside burial.
