Donald G.
Martin
September 12, 1931 – November 23, 2025
Donald George Martin, beloved husband of Cynthia Martin, entered eternal rest peacefully on November 23,2025 after an extended illness. Born in Chicopee on September 12,1931 to the late Millard George and Isabella J. (Lord) Martin, he spent his youth there attending local schools and graduating from Chicopee High School class of 1949. Donald then courageously chose to serve his country during the Korean War in The United States Army. He wed the love of his life, Cynthia Moses, in 1961 and they relocated to Feeding Hills where they made their home and welcomed their children. Donald chose a career working for the U.S. government in the post office branch as a postal clerk where he spent many successful years until his retirement. Donald loved the simple pleasures in life and being in his home surrounded by his family brought him great pleasure. He enjoyed watching sports and was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan. Donald took every opportunity to watch his grandsons participate in sporting events and his granddaughter's ballet recitals and took great pride in them. He looked forward to fine dining experiences. Donald appreciated each day and loved his family with no bounds.
Surviving Donald is his devoted wife Cynthia and his loving children, Alan Martin of Feeding Hills and Elizabeth and her husband Jeffrey Koziol also of Feeding Hills. His memory will be forever cherished by his beloved grandchildren Douglas, Gregory and Natalie and his loving sister Carol Raciot of Westfield and many nieces and nephews.
