Donald F
Bousquet
August 8, 1943 – June 2, 2025
The family of Donald Francis Bousquet is deeply saddened to announce his passing on June 2, 2025, in the comfort of his dear loved ones. Born in Holyoke on August 8, 1943, to the late Raymond L. and Dorothy (Kelly) Bousquet he was raised and educated there attending local schools. Donald wed the love of his life, Theda-Rae, in 1962 and settled in Agawam creating a loving home and welcoming their children. He began his working career at the age of eight years old starting his own shoeshine business and then went on to be a successful member of the team at Kidder Stacy, finishing his work journey employed by the town of Agawam in the school system. In his own words Donald expressed how much he loved the children at the school where he worked and how much he would miss them, and it was obvious that feeling was mutual. Donald believed in being active and in his earlier years enjoyed boxing at the Boys Club in Holyoke. For many years he bowled in the Men's Candlepin Bowling league, and he loved to go fishing. In the fall he enjoyed his trips to Vermont with his beloved wife. Donald greeted each day with a smile and a loving heart and took every opportunity to share his feelings with those whose lives he touched. He will forever remain in their hearts.
Surviving Donald are his devoted children; Tammy and her husband Randy Andrews, Scott and his wife Kathleen Bousquet and Todd Bousquet and his partner Stacy Boliski. To carry on his legacy, he leaves his cherished grandchildren; Samantha, Victoria, Bryan, Kailey, Nicholas, Kyle and great grandchildren; Silas, Charlotte, Emma and Declan. He also leaves his brother Earl Bousquet and many friends. Sadly, he was predeceased by his wife Theda-Rae, and siblings Pamela Paige, Sandra Bookings, Carol Bousquet, Raymond, Robert and Larry Bousquet.
To honor Donald's wishes there will be no services. Memorial donations in his name may be made to the Springfield Rescue Mission or Brightside for Families and Children
