The family of Daniel "Gil" Tetreault is deeply saddened to announce his peaceful passing in the comfort of their love. Born in North Troy, Vermont on September 30, 1931, he spent his youth working the farm in St. Johnsbury, Vermont. He went on to proudly serve in the United States Army Corps of Engineers.

He wed his beloved Beverly (Beauchene) in 1956, and they settled in Agawam to begin their family and raise their children. He took great pride in being a father, coach, and all around family man. He was blessed with many beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren, always providing guidance and love. Known affectionately as "Dan Dan the Maintenance Man" he was a fixture at the Agawam Housing Authority where he worked tirelessly for many years. Dan was a jack-of-all-trades, supporting his neighbors and friends all his life, and an avid outdoorsman and hunter.

Surviving Dan are his devoted wife of seventy years Beverly, and his children; Randy Fowler (Ginny), Robert Tetreault, Denise Commane, and Terry Davis. He also leaves his loving sisters, Regina Nardacci and Jeninne Gould. He is predeceased by his daughter Annette Tetreault and several siblings. He will be greatly missed by a large extended family and countless friends.
Visitation with Dan's family will be held on Monday, January 12, 2026 at the Agawam Funeral Home at 184 Main Street beginning at 9AM, concluding with a funeral home service at 10AM. Committal with full military honors will be held at 11AM at the Massachusetts Veteran Memorial Cemetery. Remembrances in Dan's name may be made to Dakin Humane Society in lieu of flowers.
