Claire Marie
Campbell
Apr 17, 1934 — Sep 5, 2026
AGAWAM
Claire Marie Campbell, beloved mother and grandmother, entered eternal rest peacefully on Sunday September surrounded by the love of her family. Born on April 17,1934 to the late Stephen and Mary (Kriesak) Knapik in Westfield, she spent her youth and was educated there. She married her husband, Bernard E Campbell Sr., who predeceased her in 1989, and they welcomed their three children. Claire was a devoted mother creating a loving, nurturing environment for her children, instilling in them the important values in life. In her later years Claire was employed by the town of Agawam as the animal control officer for ten years and relocated to Florida where she was on the administrative staff at the Seminole Casino. She was actively involved in the Draft Horse Pulling Association, being a fierce competitor. Claire also enjoyed the quiet time that she spent knitting but her greatest pleasure was spending time with her family. Claire was a strong independent woman who loved her family and lived each day to the fullest. The memories she created will remain with those she loved.
Surviving Claire is her devoted son Joseph Campbell and his wife Peg and loving daughter Sherry Reidy and her husband Thomas. Her legacy will live on in her two adored grandchildren, Joey and Emerson. Sadly, she was predeceased by her beloved husband Bernard and son Bernard Jr.
Services will be held privately for the family with committal rites held at Agawam Center Cemetery.
