Obituary

Carolyn J. Dorval, beloved mother and grandmother, entered eternal rest peacefully on February 19, 2026. She was born in Feeding Hills on April 1,1946 to the late Richard and Barbara (Halloway) Fuller. Carolyn was one of six children all spending their youth in Feeding Hills and being educated in local schools. She wed her beloved husband John M. Dorval in 1968, and they spent forty-six years together until his passing in 2014. Carolyn took immense pride in being a mother, guiding her two sons in their early years and instilling in them the values that she believed to be most important. She was also very outgoing and helpful, affording her a successful career in customer service as an assistant at Feeding Hills Pharmacy until it closed and then at Wisnewski Farms until her retirement. Carolyn found great pleasure in spending time with her family and especially loved picnics. She was a serene soul that found great peace sitting on her backyard swing and loved the calm of the ocean at Hampton Beach. Each day was a gift, and she lived each moment to the fullest. Her love for her family was unwavering, and she will be fondly remembered.
Surviving Carolyn are her three loving sons, Michael and Mark Dorval and  Joseph Watson. Her memory will be cherished by her adoring grandchildren Ethan, Kate, Emily, Madison, Oceane and Sean. She will be greatly missed by her close friend Madiline and a small extended family of nieces and nephews. Sadly, she was predeceased by her husband John and her five siblings. The family expresses their gratitude for the care and kindness shown to Carolyn by the staff at Westfield Gardens.
Memorial donations in her name may be made to the Salvation Army Springfield 170 Pearl Street Springfield MA 01101.     Celebration of Life to be held on March 28, 2026 Agawam Country Club 11-3 P.M. RSVP by March 18, 2026 to Michael or Mark. AgawamFH.com
