Obituary

Brian H. Stilwell, a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather, and decorated Air Force veteran, passed away peacefully on June 12, 2025, at the age of 84. He was born in Mount Kisco, New York, and lived a life full of love, adventure, laughter, and music.

Brian proudly served his country and retired as a Master Sergeant in the United States Air Force, traveling the world with his young family and embracing every chapter with dedication and heart. After his military service, he continued to pursue his passions, becoming a beloved radio disc jockey in the local area and performing the music he loved—especially Doo-Wop. His talent and enthusiasm for music led him to perform with various groups and venues, and he was especially proud to have sung with the regrouping of The Imaginations in 1996.

In the beautiful fall of 1990, Brian married Laura. Together they built a life full of laughter, love, and shared adventures—including cherished trips to Disney World while living in Florida. Brian had a vibrant, charismatic personality and a wide range of hobbies: he loved bowling, softball, Mustang Cars, and cheering on his favorite baseball team, the New York Yankees.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Laura, his children, Raymond Stilwell and wife Dena of Texas, Laurie Stilwell and husband Timothy Dupuis of Massachusetts, Kimberly Putnam and husband Lowell of New Hampshire, and Jon Keller and his girlfriend Sharon Collier of Massachusetts. He also leaves behind his cherished grandchildren, Sara and Jennifer, who brought him immense joy, along with grandchildren Kristina and David.

Brian will be remembered for his generous spirit, his humor, his deep love for his family, and the music that always filled his heart and home.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Agawam Funeral Home, followed by chapel services at the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him, but his voice, laughter, and love will echo in our hearts forever.
