The family of Brian R. Ormsby is deeply saddened to announce his passing on November 14, 2025. Brian was born in Springfield to the late Robert J. and Lois (Boduck) Ormsby on February 22, 1950 and was raised and attended local schools in Agawam. Brian went on to earn his undergraduate degree from Seton Hall University and a Master of Business Administration from Western New England College. Brian spent most of his career in financial services. He was a father to his two children, Mike Ormsby and his wife Kara and his daughter Kristen Labonte and her husband Nathan. Brian had a lifelong desire for learning and was an avid follower of the stock market. He was also a devoted baseball and football fan, often cheering for the Red Sox and Patriots. Brian was very knowledgeable and was someone who knew something about everything. His family and friends will miss him greatly.

Surviving Brian are his children, his loving brother Robert Ormsby and his partner William O'Leary and his grandchildren, Emma, Elliot, Amelia, Jayson, and Camden.

Services for Brian will begin with a calling hour from 12:30-1:30 P.M. on Friday November 21, 2025 at the Agawam Funeral Home 184 Main Street at the invitation of the family. A funeral home service will begin at 1:30 P.M. Committal will be held privately for the family.
