Barry Otis Browning passed away peacefully on July 25,2025 surrounded by his three beloved children. Born in Springfield he was educated and remained a lifelong resident. He was a proud veteran who chose to serve his country honorably in the United Staes Army. Barry devoted his professional life to long distance transportation as a drive trucker retiring from Van Pak in 2005. He loved watching old movies with his favorite genre being westerns. He enjoyed fishing on his boat, Jeeps, and camping. His greatest pleasure was time spent with his family, especially his children and grandchildren. Simply he loved with no bounds, and each day was a gift. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Surviving Barry are his three devoted children: James Browning and his wife Kim, Susan MacDonald and her husband Jim, and Michael Browning and his wife Maria. He leaves his four cherished grandchildren: Alex and Kaylee MacDonald and Carter and Addison Browning. He was predeceased by his mother Alice (Hall) Browning, his father Robert Browning, and his brother Kirby Browning.

As per Barry's wishes, funeral services will be private.
