Obituary

Beloved father, grandfather, uncle, and friend, Andrew A. Ennaco entered eternal rest peacefully on October 8, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. Born on May 10,1926 to the late Andrew and Rose (Santaniello) Ennaco in West Springfield, he was raised and educated in West Springfield and went on to honorably serve his country in the United States Navy during WWII. He wed the love of his life, Libera Labigalini, on August 31,1946, and they spent seventy-two years happily married until her passing in 2018. Andrew chose a career in manufacturing, working as a valued member of the packaging team at the Breck Shampoo Company for many years until his retirement. In his leisure Andrew was an avid golfer accomplishing a hole in one and maintaining his skills enabling him to shoot a score of 73 at the grand age of seventy-five. He was a skilled pool player and enjoyed the competition and camaraderie of the game. Andrew looked forward to traveling with his wife to his favorite destination, Gulf Shores, Alabama. The times he treasured the most were those spent with his family, especially hosting the holidays. Andrew loved all those in his life with no bounds and cherished the time he spent with them. He was a man of great character and lived each day with a profound sense of pride and thanksgiving. He will remain in the hearts of those whose lives he touched.

Surviving Andrew are his devoted sons, Andrew and his wife June of Simsbury CT and Walter and his wife Ann of Washington D.C. He leaves to cherish his memory his adored grandchildren, Cintha, Carrie, Nicole, Kristin, Adrienne, Stephanie, Andrew and great grandchildren Piper, Jackson, Regan, Samuel, and Rosalyn as well as beloved nieces, nephews, and friends. He was predeceased by his wife Libera and siblings Ralph, Philomena, Josephine, and Rose.

Visitation with the family will be held on Monday October 14, 2024, from 4-7 P.M. at the Agawam Funeral Home, 184 Main Street. Family and friends will gather on Tuesday October 15, 2024, for a funeral home service to begin at 11 A.M. with burial immediately following at St. Thomas Cemetery in West Springfield.
