Amilia R Hall

The beauty of the world shines brightest through our connection with animals, reminding us of pure compassion, presence, and unconditional love. Amilia R. Hall, a true animal lover, entered eternal life peacefully on September 4,2026. Her family is deeply saddened by her loss. She was born on April 27,1951 in Washington D.C. to the late Arthur and Pearl (Gutbier) Martin and spent her youth in Westfield graduating from Westfield High School class of 1969. She served her country honorably in the United States Air Force and choose a career in the field of education retiring from the River Street School in Enfield after years of faithful service. She wed her beloved husband Timothy Hall, and they spent thirty-three years together on their journey through life. Amilia was a strong, sweet woman who believed in the goodness of all and possessed compassion as well as empathy for those who cannot speak for themselves. She gave freely of her time as well as her love to help those less fortunate. Amilia volunteered at the Forest Park Zoo and was devoted to her dogs, Peewee and Sopia and her parrot, Maximos. She loved purple, leopard print and was fascinated by hummingbirds. Amilia appreciated each day as a gift and shared her love and care with all those around her. The bonds and memories she made will remain forever sound.

Surviving Amilia is her devoted husband, Tim and her son Carl Courchesne. She will be greatly missed by her siblings, Arthur Martin and his wife, Nancy, Jacob Martin and his wife Ann, Robert Martin, Tammy Mitchell and stepdaughter Gina Hannah as well as several beloved nieces and nephews.

Services will be held privately for the family with committal with full military honors at the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
