Amber Georgianne Hoague
October 29, 1997 – May 25, 2026
With deep love and sadness, we announce the passing of Amber Georgianne Hoague, who left this world far too soon on May 25, 2026, at the age of 28.
Amber's life was not always easy, but through every hardship she carried a spirit that remained deeply lovable, unforgettable, and uniquely her own. She was funny, emotional, stubborn, loving, and searching for peace in a world that often felt too heavy for her heart. Beneath every struggle was a young woman who wanted love, wanted acceptance, and wanted to feel safe.
For those who truly knew Amber, they knew her smile, her laugh, the softness hidden underneath her pain, and the love she carried for the people closest to her. She loved deeply, even when life made it difficult for her to love herself.
Amber was the mother of two beautiful daughters, Autumn Scott and Grace Dmitriev. Her girls were forever connected to her heart, and no struggle or circumstance could erase the love she carried for them. Though her journey in life was complicated and marked by hardship, those who loved Amber knew there was always a part of her that longed for peace, healing, and a better path forward.
James Dmitriev was a central part of Amber's life for nearly 24 years. Though they were no longer together at the time of her passing, their lives remained deeply intertwined through years of shared history, friendship, love, and the daughter they brought into the world together, Grace. No matter where life led them, they remained part of one another's story from childhood into adulthood.
Amber was predeceased by her beautiful mother, Dayna Hoague, and her brother, Nathan Stebbins, both of whom she carried in her heart throughout her life. There is comfort in believing they were waiting for her with open arms, finally welcoming her home and surrounding her with the peace and love she searched for here on earth.
Though family is not always defined by blood alone, Amber was blessed to find a family she chose as her own. She lovingly called Mary Mellinger Kirk "Mom," found guidance and unwavering support in Robert "Bob" Kirk, who became the father figure she needed throughout much of her life, and shared a close sibling bond with Paul Mellinger, whom she considered her brother. Their love and presence remained a constant source of comfort to her through life's many storms.
Amber shared a special bond with her beloved great-aunt, Alice, who held a cherished place in her heart. So special, in fact, that Amber chose the name Grace for her daughter because of the love and admiration she carried for her Aunt Alice.
Amber's absence leaves an ache that words cannot fully describe, but her memory will continue to live on in every story shared, every photograph held close, and in the lives of the daughters she brought into this world.
Celebration of life arrangements will be announced by the family at a later date.
We really don't want flowers, but we do need support for her baby girl
