A beautiful soul is never forgotten just remembered with great love. Allison E. Carroll, daughter of the late David and Barbara (Pettigrove) Downie, entered eternal rest peacefully at her residence on October,28,2026. She was in Springfield on December 13,1955 in Springfield where she spent her youth and was educated graduating from Putnum High School class of 1974. Allison spent her career providing support, guidance, and tools to those in need at the Agawam Counseling Center until her retirement. Her goal was to help individuals improve their quality of life and make positive life changes. Sher had a kind and generous heart and had a love for animals, DIY projects, family genealogy, creating craft jewelry and writing poetry. Allison was a good woman whose value lies in her character, kindness, and strength.

She will be forever cherished by her devoted husband, Robert Carroll of fifty years who survives her. She will be greatly missed by her loving sisters-in-law Liz Carroll and husband Bill Fontaine, Mary Conchieri and husband Mike and Cindy Robittaile. She leaves her beloved nephews, Sean and Patrick Conchieri, several cousins and dearest friends, Patti Williams and Cheryl Howes. Sadly, she was predeceased by her beloved daughter, Anne Carroll.

The family would like to express their since gratitude for the care and compassion shown to Allison by the doctors, nurses and staff at the Damour Cancer Center and Andrea from Baystate Hospice.
